Angelina Jolie cant stop the fight as she took a second big step in minimizing a cancer risk which she has been living with for years … she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.
Jolie told an emotional, dramatic story in a NY Times op-ed piece, in which she talked about her normal … an 87% chance of developing breast cancer and a 50% chance of ovarian cancer, because she carries the BRCA1 gene mutation.
The actress took proactive steps with breast cancer 2 years ago by getting a double mastectomy. She’d been seriously considering the second preventative procedure but she was pushed into action when medical tests revealed the possibility of ovarian cancer but in the early stages.
Angelina underwent the procedure last week, and doctors found a small benign tumor on one ovary but no signs of cancer in her tissues.
Jolie says she’s now in menopause as a result of the surgery, and she can’t have any more children. She stoically writes about the fact that she has to live with the possibility of cancer but adds, “I feel feminine, and grounded in the choices I am making for myself and my family. l know my children will never have to say, ‘Mom died of ovarian cancer.'”
A man was baffled after he logged on to his online banking and discovered he had a mystery £1.25 MILLION in his account.
Shocked Kieran McKeefery, 21, couldn’t believe his eyes when his bank balance had been boosted by the seven-figure sum.
After mulling over what he could spend the cash on, the web designer phoned his bank, Natwest, and asked them to investigate.
Bank bosses could only tell him the enormous bank-to-bank same-day payment had come from a huge investment company – and it was up to their bank to take it back.
It was an agonising 10 days before the company retrieved the cash – leaving Kieran with a bonus £210 of interest.
Honest Kieran, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, said: “I checked my online banking and immediately I noticed I had £1.25 million in the bank.
“I was a bit fazed at first. It was such a copious amount of money to be in my bank.

“It was very strange and quite scary when you are in that position, checking your bank to see if £1.25 million is in there.
“I didn’t know what to do, except just wait and think about all the things I could have spent it on.
“I thought ‘oh God, what has happened’ – I was a bit shocked more than anything else.
“I called the bank and they said they would look into it.
“I was kind of tempted [to spend the money] but I had read stories about people spending money mistakenly placed in their accounts and getting in trouble.
“I spoke to my partner and she said to just leave it there and don’t touch it.
“I was buying a new car the next day and I could have paid for it in cash – and bought quite a few more – with the money in my account.
“The bank wasn’t really playing ball. It was a bit crazy really.
“I had all this money in my account and they said they had made the request [to the payee’s bank] and I just had to wait. They said it was up to them to sort it.”
The massive payment was marked only as ‘CHAPS Payment’ – a Clearing House Automated Payment System – on January 27.
Panicked Kieran immediately called Natwest who said the payment had come from an investment company via their bank.
They said they would alert the payee’s bank of the mistake – but that it was up to them to take it back.
Over the next ten days he called his bank in a bid to speed up the move, but it wasn’t until February 6 the cash disappeared, leaving him with £204 interest.
“The interest was pretty good really and they haven’t asked for it back,” said Kieran

“I didn’t really tell Carl or ask his permission. I was just round his house all the time and I think he thought ‘Why the hell is Jake here drinking my beer and eating all my food all the time?’” He told the newspaper.
“Then eventually we sat down and I told him I was serious about Danielle and wouldn’t hurt her.”
Carl reportedly said he couldn’t think of anyone better to date his daughter, and the happy singer admitted the whole family “love” him.

According to the Sun, their relationship took a romantic turn before Christmas, with the singer spending two days at the family’s Blackburn home.
