Mum charged with killing her one-year-old son after 'kissing him then throwing him off bridge

A one-year-old little boy has died, six days after his mum allegedly threw him off a bridge into a river.

Zymeir Perry died in hospital yesterday morning after his mum Johnesha Monae Perry, 19, allegedly flung him off a bridge in Pennsylvania, US.

Ms Perry gave Zymeir a kiss moments before she pushed him over the railings and then jumped from the 52-foot bridge into the Lehigh River herself.

A police officer found the little boy 700 yards away, floating downstream, and performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
