Former X Factor judge Tulisa Constavlos appeared in court for the second day on Tuesday as she begins her fight to overturn her conviction for assaulting celeb blogger Vas Morga according to mirror.co.uk.
The N-Dubz star was found guilty of punching Savvas Morgan in the face at the 2013 V Festival last summer and has launched an appeal more than a year in a bid to clear her name.
She was accused of charging at Morgan in a “drunken and angry state” and punching him in the eye but insists she stayed calm as he launched into a foul-mouthed rant and MOCKED her mentally ill mother.
Tulisa said: “I think I used swear words, called him a b*****d and a d***head in retaliation, being argumentative. It was petty stuff really.”
The star, who appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court this morning, allegedly held a grudge against Mr Morgan after he published a link to a sex tape leaked by her ex-boyfriend rapper Justin Edwards in 2012.
Her defence barrister Simon Gledhill told the appeal hearing that the TOWIE star began “bullying” the singer in postings on his website.
The court heard how Mr Morgan’s grudge against her was sparked when he was removed from exclusive London club Whisky Mist in 2012, allegedly by the request of the 26-year-old singer.
Mr Morgan claimed he suffered swelling for up to 48 hours after the star hit him in the eye and he reported the matter to police two days after it happened.
