This is the first picture of a couple who were pepper-sprayed by police after a barman allegedly caught them having sex in a pub toilet.
Lee Hops, 30, and Hayley McClory, 23, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court, County Durham, over the incident at the Stanley Jefferson pub, Bishop Auckland.
Hops is charged with a section 4 public order offence and resisting arrest.
McClory is charged with a section 4 public order offence, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
