Reports Bossip:
Kanye has been tapping into his softer emotional side right and left. Just one day after premiering a new song at the BRIT awards, he broke down in tears while remembering his late fashion/shoe mentor Louise Wilson during a BBC interview (Yeezy starts talking about his fashion mentor and eventually breaks down over her unfortunate death around the 24:25 mark).
As he told interviewer Zane Lowe:
“Last time I saw her, we had dinner at Hakkasan, which is my favorite restaurant in London. And I think she knew that she was going to pass, and she just wanted to give me some words of advice moving forward, and she was asking me about my daughter, asked me about my wife…and she said, you know, ‘So many students, they don’t give it their all, and the problem is, soon as they do anything halfway good when they’re 2 years old, 3 years old, their parents clap.’ Don’t clap.”
He soon broke down and had to excuse himself, saying “I didn’t know when was I going to lose her.”
Kanye took to twitter this evening to publicly apologize for downing Beck’s album and stealing his Grammy moment.
