Jane Pountney’s husband, Derrick, has admitted he thinks Kate Price has been openly talking about his wife’s affair with Kieran Hayler because she is “hurting” so badly still.
He is also hopeful he can bond with Katie- who he has known for 20 years – again in the future.
The former glamour model was left devastated last year when she discovered her husband Kieran Hayler had cheated on her with her best friend and Jane’s spouse
Speaking about his friendship with the mother-of-five, he told Heat: “I was a friend of Katie’s first. She’s alright, Katie, she’s a good girl. She’s not the monster everyone thinks she is.”
Katie – who has since reconciled with her spouse – is currently appearing on UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother.
Derrick cotninued: “It’s all a massive front in the house. Katie’s similar to me – we’re a couple of big softies really.
