It was claimed on Wednesday they have been secretly dating for a year-and-a-half. There was even photo evidence as the two were pictured with their legs intertwined as they held hands while at ease in a studio in February.
But on Friday Jamie Foxx threw some cold water on reports of a romance with Katie Holmes, 36, as he talked to TMZ after leaving a bank in Westlake Village, which is just outside Los Angeles.
‘Oh come on you guys have been trying to make that stick for three years, we’re just friends,’ the Ray actor, 47, said. ‘As a matter of fact Anthony Zuiker, creator of CSI, he offered us an animation project and we’re working on that.’
The Soloist actor also said, ‘They have been trying to do that for three years – just stories I guess. You just have to respect – that’s just part of our lives.’
