Sam Smith tops UK charts AGAIN with new single Lay Me Down as his album sits pretty at No 1 Read more:

Sam Smith’s awards season reign, where he bagged three Grammys and two Brits, may be over.

But he’s continuing his lucky streak after scoring a number one on both the Official Singles Chart and the Official Albums Chart on Sunday.

On a role! Sam Smith achieved his fourth number one on Sunday with his new single Lay Me Down, just as his album In The Midnight Hour stays at the top spot in the albums chart

Following three consecutive number one singles, his Comic Relief collaboration with John Legend, Lay Me Down, entered the charts straight at the top spot.

They sold over 105,000 copies according to the Official Charts Company and the latest chart topper makes it Smith’s fourth number one in less than two years, and Legend’s first UK number one.
