A second tape of Dan Osborne allegedly reducing his ex-girlfriend to tears has been released.
The TOWIE star, whose girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa recently gave birth to their daughter Ella, spoke out on Friday to apologise for threatening to stab the mother of his son Megan Tomlin in the first tape.
However, just two days later, another recording has been leaked to The Sun on Sunday on which it is claimed he he can be heard arguing with his former partner as she sobs.
The incident was allegedly recorded by Megan using her mobile at around the same time she made the first tape last autumn after she had become ‘scared’ of his behaviour.
After Dan, 23, left, she then sent the sound clips to pals as a back-up in case she lost her phone.
Both tapes have now been heard by Essex Police.
After Dan – who was never arrested over the allegations – fully cooperated with officers, they decided to take no further action.
However, Megan’s name has been added to the domestic violence list as a precaution, meaning that should police be alerted to any future incidents, officers will arrive at her house within minutes.
A source close to Dan – who is said to be in the middle of a dispute with Megan, 22, over access to their son – said: ‘Police have been in touch with him but he hasn’t been questioned and no charges have been brought.’.
It is not yet known how the tapes were obtained by the tabloid, however, it has been said that there was no suggestion the audio being released online was down to a leak by an officer.
Following the release of the first tape, Dan decided to take a break from TOWIE.
A spokesperson for the ITVBe reality show told MailOnline: ‘We are speaking to Dan about this incident, and in the meantime he’s not filming.’
